We are committed to protecting your personal security and privacy, and we appreciate your trust that we will do so. By collecting such information at our website we strongly believe that we can significantly improve our level of customer service and make your future visits to our website more worthwhile.
Information we collect
We collect information (such as your name, email address, phone number and credit card number) that you provide when you register to listen to music or place an order on Daytrotter, save your information with us or participate in a promotion or survey. We also maintain a record of your music preferences, product interests and your purchases from our website.
We have implemented Google Analytics' Demographics and Interests cookies, which we use to analyze the interests of people who visit Concert Vault. We use this information to make both the types of articles we publish and the types of advertising we serve more relevant to our visitors' interests. You can prevent us from collecting this information through Google Analytics' free opt-out browser add-on.
How we use your information
In the Concert Vault we use your information to support the personalized services the Concert Vault offers - for example, keeping a list of your favorite concerts, and rating individual concerts. We also use your email address to keep you informed of new additions to the Concert Vault.
When you make an online purchase from either the Concert Vault or Wolfgang's Vault, we use your information to process your order. We will also send you emails to confirm your order, and we may need to contact you via phone, postal mail or email if we have other questions regarding your order. In addition, you will be automatically signed up to receive email updates about our products, services, promotions and additions to all of our websites, including Wolfgang's, Concert Vault, Paste Magazine and Daytrotter.
You can be removed from our email list by following the directions on any email that we send to you, or by clicking on the "MY ACCOUNT" link at the top of any page on our website. Please note that it may take up to 72 hours to remove you from our list.
Sharing your information
We do not rent or sell any information about our customers to any other marketers. We do however provide limited customer information to other companies who we employ to perform some functions on our behalf. Examples include processing credit card payments, delivering packages, sending postal mail and e-mail, and analyzing data. These companies have access to personal information needed to perform their functions, but have agreed not to use it for other purposes.
In order to make sure that artists receive applicable royalties, the Concert Vault identifies and counts the songs you and all listeners have accessed. We use this data to report and pay royalties, and for internal analysis. We do not share your personal usage data with any third parties.
If you have elected to receive newsletters or promotional or marketing correspondence from the Concert Vault or any of our affiliated sites, and later decide that you no longer wish to receive such correspondence from us in the future, you may opt-out from further receipt by following the opt-out instructions provided in such correspondence.
